Today, much of American culture undermines time-honored values and promotes the sacrifice of unborn children for the convenience of uninformed persons who fail to realize abortion’s significant long-term destructive effects.
Since the Roe vs. Wade decision in 1973, abortion on demand has taken over 50 million American lives, while scarring millions more—including mothers and fathers harmed by the nightmare of abortion—in part because they did not have the facts.
Now, through mass media and the Internet, we have the ability to reach millions of people with the truth about this critical issue. When you contribute to our general fund or choose to underwrite a specific media buy, you have the assurance that your contributions will yield direct, tangible results.
For example, in the fall of 2004, one client purchased $10,600 of airtime on Comcast Cable (including CNN, Fox News, and Lifetime) in a top-twenty television market. If 50% of households had at least one television set on when the commercials ran (daytime and primetime), 32 commercials, over a 3-week period resulted in:
- 344,435 viewers
- 175,662 of the viewers were women
- 14,466 of the women viewers were pregnant at the time
The cost to reach a single viewer was 3 cents, to reach a pregnant woman just 73 cents.
Additionally, hundreds of thousands of people visit our website each year where they can view our commercials free of charge. As a result, many women decide to let their babies live. These same women can also find help in the additional services we make readily available through our website.
